Our Techniques

• Diversified – After identifying which vertebrae have lost their normal motion or position, a specific manual thrust is applied to free up “stuck” spinal joints.
• Chiropractic extremity adjusting – The goal of adjusting extremities (shoulders, elbows, arms, wrists, ankles, and knees) is to restore the body/brain connection, enabling it to have normal and proper function. Dr. Shapiro is a highly proficient and educated extremities adjuster.
• Impulse iQ™ – This adjusting style uses the highest level of technology available in the chiropractic field. Inside the Impulse is a motion sensor that determines how well your spinal joints are moving.
• Logan Basic – We use this popular adjusting technique because of the results it produces and the delighted patient response we see. This is largely due to its focus on the “foundation” of the spine and our non-force delivery style.
• Sacro Occipital Technique – SOT is used to help regulate the relationship between the pelvis and the head, using gravity to make the necessary correction.
• Y-strap – The Y-Strap decompression tool is used to extend the back to release pressure from the vertebrae along the spine. This tool helps to stretch the spine, using slow and constant force, relaxing the muscles and releasing tension in the neck and back.
